I have recently been working on a research project that is far from Chemical Engineering. Currently I have been trying to create a board that will be able to automate a manual valve for fluid flow analysis. This is what has happened this weekend thus far. Solder board, burned fingers, frustration, and finally completion. I am glad I am finally going to be able to start the next phase – programming. Hopefully this project will be successful, and hopefully I will get to venture into more broad fields.

Hey Kelvin!
This is so cool! How did you get started with soldering? Did you just learn it on your own? Is the research project for school or just for your own enjoyment (haha)?
Hope you’re having a great summer! I’m starting with Air Products on Monday! I expect to see a shrine to you in the co-op office in Allentown (haha)!
