This is a post for the remembrance of my grandmother. One of the main purposes for my trip to Taiwan was to visit her and show her that all was well. It was a tragedy to be informed a week before our trip there that she had passed. I haven’t had a very personal relationship with her recently, although she was a major part of my childhood. I am glad to see that there are so many that care for her, with such an elaborate ceremony.

I do not have any photos of most of the guest do to being part of the ceremony. But here are some shots that my dad wanted me to get, of the first few to show up.

Sorry to hear about your loss, espcially with that bad timing. Hope you otherwise enjoyed Taiwan; I haven't been back since 1993.
