I have recently been working on a research project that is far from Chemical Engineering. Currently I have been trying to create a board that will be able to automate a manual valve for fluid flow analysis. This is what has happened this weekend thus far. Solder board, burned fingers, frustration, and finally completion. I am glad I am finally going to be able to start the next phase – programming. Hopefully this project will be successful, and hopefully I will get to venture into more broad fields.

May 26, 20092009 NCAA Softball Super Regionals
May 23, 2009Playoffs for NCAA softball starts here, during the super regionals. With #14 Georgia Tech going against #3 Washington, this would be a tough battle for the Jackets. This was my first time shooting softball so I didn’t know where I should be situated in such a small stadium. Newly made Mewborn stadium let me have a great view with my 300mm which was the antithesis of the regular baseball pictures.

It All Adds Up
May 20, 2009So, I have been trying to switch to Nikon and everything seems to be so expensive. I do love the D700, but I don’t love the prices. I have been having fun trying to learn this new format, and it is refreshing to see that I am not stuck with the problems I had. I hope to give a review of this camera later for all you Canon users. I still am madly in love with the 5D, but it just wasn’t the perfect soup for my bowl. I hope I have finally found it, “yum!”

Another One Bites the Dust..
May 16, 2009So, you would think that I would have learned through modelling. My brother was the first to get into a long board accident, he managed to get the board to slip from under him. I wasn’t there first hand to witness it, but I did see the aftermath.

Congratulations USC Graduates
May 15, 2009Congratulations to all the USC graduates, you guys should be proud to have made USC not only top in athletics, but now the top in academics also. Thanks Melody for providing me a picture of you and your roommates.
So Long Beautiful
May 14, 2009I just sold my 5D, and almost all my lenses. I think people believe I am crazy by switching equipment or buying equipment so often, but I have almost found the perfect equipment for myself. I recently had trouble with the 5D while taking pictures at the baseball game and was wanting something a little more reliable. I will be a Nikon user. We will see how this fairs for me, and I will update whoever is interested in this switch.

Spring Classic for Kids
May 12, 2009Georgia Tech against UGA in their final header of the year. Last game was rained out which was suppose to be played on GT soil. With the Jackets 1-0 on the series, this game could prove to fill the trifecta of football, basketball, and baseball against UGA this year – so far 2-0.

Brugge
May 11, 2009It’s kind of weird to think that it has already been a year since I went on my study abroad in Metz, France. I would currently be residing in London getting ready for my first day of class – which awkwardly started on Tuesday. It would be one of the best summers, and one that would make my college career worthwhile. Little did I know that I would be experiencing this with complete strangers, making friends with people all over the world. I would travel to Brugge, Brussels, the Black Forrest, Rome, Florence, Venice, Stockholm, Interlaken, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Montpellier, Cannes, Nice, Barcelona, Zurich, Geneva, and Heidelberg – in that order. It tickled my fancy for travel, and stirred a desire to be in environments for me to learn, thrive, LIVE.

Happy Mother’s Day
May 10, 2009Sad day for me, I left California last night at 11 PM western time and got back around 5:30 AM eastern time. My dad was late because he overslept, but that wasn’t an issue. Just sad to leave California and everything that it embraces.
