This weekend Melody and I were on a trip to the Appalachian mountain range in the Smoky Mountain National Park. We decided to hike the Appalachian Trail, toward the Charlie Bunion overlook. Here is Melody on the way to the overlook, all excited.

June 23, 2009Moving out of the Fraternity this weekend and finally got to stay in my new apartment. It is finally coming together with my room being furnished and the living room close to that. I feel like I have been cleansed from the life at the Fraternity, sick of all the sticky floors, bugs, and loud roommates.
Muddy Buddy Meets Atlanta
June 21, 2009Saturday was the day that my brother and I attended our second muddy buddy, but this time it was in Atlanta. We thought we would be able to PR on this course, but it wasn’t possible, more training is necessary. Well all in all it was still a lot of fun to attend and of course we would do it again. But this time was also a little better due to the fact that every participant was able to go to the Beer Garden for complimentary beer!

Lounging in Savannah
June 8, 2009We arrived in Savannah the night before, tired from the road behind us. We were looking for some southern food and was recommended a place called Sweet Potatoes. Decadent fried chicken was on the menu and was a must for our palate. This large meal put us right to sleep, getting us prepared for the day ahead of us.
2009 NCAA Atlanta Regional
June 1, 2009The 2009 NCAA Atlanta Regional was an exciting game, but ended in Tech not advancing to the Super Regional. The final score was 12-8 with USM topping the Jackets.
