I had the opportunity to photograph the Fall Ball at the Masquerade yesterday, but unfortunately the headlining band wasn’t able to make it. The Academy is.. tour bus broke down, but it wasn’t the end of the night. The first band up was You Me at Six, which proved to be challenging because of the lights.

Fall Ball
October 30, 2009Atreyu and Hollywood Undead at the Tabernacle
October 25, 2009It was freezing cold today in Atlanta, and I got into the venue late because of press pass issues. But we only got to take pictures of the first band, the sleeping, for one song. Then we were forced to stand outside for nearly an hour. I felt like I was turning into an icicle.

Gifts for ME!
October 21, 2009Well, I splurged again. I bought a softbox for a studio aka my closet. Well here are my recent attempts at it. First up is a self-portrait that I call whiskers. It kind of is an inside joke with me and Melody, and you can tell how she got it I hope from this picture.

#19 GT Vs. #4 VT
October 18, 2009The most anticipated game of Georgia Tech’s schedule proved to be an exciting game. Homecoming against a #4 ranked team provided a stressful anticipation, with the odds being against Georgia Tech. Tensions were high coming into the game because we all knew that this was a game we needed to win.

Homecoming Concert 2009
October 17, 2009The opener for this years, and hopefully subsequent years, homecoming concert was Hot Chelle Rae. It was a tough start to a “promising” assignment due to tough lighting to deal with. Although they might not be known as well, they produce some pretty sweet tunes. Here is the lead singer looking like the SNL skit.

GT Vs. FSU
October 11, 2009The Georgia Tech, Florida State game can easily be bolstered up as one of the games of the year. It exhibited offensive dominance over some mediocre defenses. I was truly surprised to see such a slugfest of the one, two punch of Georgia Tech’s rushing game and Florida State’s passing game. If we had these offenses combined, it looks to be unstoppable. With 500 total offense on both sides separately, it was a game to watch this weekend. The stadium added to the appeal of the rivarly for myself, allowing me to see what a real college stadium looks like.

Revisiting Europe
October 10, 2009I’ve been looking at the pictures from Europe the past couple of days and wished I would have made a little more of the trip. I guess all I can do now is reflect on what I did and appreciate that I was able to at least go.

Happy Anniversary
October 7, 2009Many people don’t know, but it has been a year since I met my wonderful girlfriend. It was this very pizza spot, d’Amore, where she first caught my eye with her “whole” pizza. We had to revisit when I visited her, and we had to get another “whole” pizza.
