Eric Mansfield, a fellow technique photographer, and I decided to play around with lights tonight. I wanted to get some pictures around Tech Tower before we left so I figured we use this location. Here are a couple that I liked, and I am hoping to get some more portraits to play around with. I know they are some lame poses, but oh well it works!

February 9, 2010My roommate and I decided to take some pictures around town, but the weather didn’t hold up like I thought it would. It ended up being cloudy and 38 degrees Fahrenheit out. I managed to get some photos of his motorcycle and want to get out and get some more. Maybe in the next few weeks. October 21, 2009Well, I splurged again. I bought a softbox for a studio aka my closet. Well here are my recent attempts at it. First up is a self-portrait that I call whiskers. It kind of is an inside joke with me and Melody, and you can tell how she got it I hope from this picture.
Strobist Weekend
September 19, 2009This weekend I decided to work on some flash photography. It’s good to practice a little just in case the opportunity arises for yourself. Well here is a picture I took yesterday of my dad, playing around with two flashes. I hope to get some more pictures of people up later.

September 13, 2009My car has been with me since high school. With Marvin talking about getting a new car, we wanted to figure out how to take pictures of the car in motion. Tonight was a complete fail for us, because what we produced was sub par. I hope next week, after getting a new mast, that we will make better images. I can’t wait to see what car Marvin gets either. Well here what I think is the best of today.
