Hopefully we’ll be there soon. I’m thinking Muir National Park or Sequoia again. We are definitely going to have to visit King’s Canyon though!

I spent two days in Lima and about two weeks in Cusco – I was working in a medical clinic there, so I couldn’t venture very far. We took a day trip to Machu Picchu, an afternoon trip to the ruins in Pisac, went on two medical “campaigns” in smaller villages (Oropesa and Combapata), and, of course, did quite a bit of exploring in Cusco. Wish I had had time to do something like you’ve been doing, it looks like you’ve had an amazing trip!

Keep the photos coming…… i remembered afew of the birds you enquired about….3rd day…forest trek: 3rd magnificent shot is a Caracara….12th shot of the mohawk bird is a Hoatzin……2nd day…thru the river basin: 10th shot ….sounded like cameron is a cormorant…i hope this helps….linda
