The 33rd annual Atlanta Jazz Festival was hosted at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a time to unwind and express yourself through the arts, especially music. There were two stages for performances, the main one located on the lawn and a slightly smaller stage a few feet away. Its fascinating that although Atlanta is not the birthplace of this genre of music, it is considered the largest free jazz festival in the country.
The is the lawn setup with many tents setup to enjoy this two day event.
And a view of the lawn from a different angle, indeed a massive amount of people.
Just lounging around in a hammock.
And the kids center was also bustling. Here is the Atlanta Braves sponsored hitting cage.
And a puppeteer.
Shea Butter close up.
The Merchant of the Shea butter.
Cool wooden figurines.
The artist around were everywhere. It was great to take to a few of them and ask them questions.
Another booth around the Festival.
An artist without a booth, but who needs one when you can let passerby’s get a glance of your work.
Another store, this time selling ear rings.
I just thought it was interesting that all the food shops only used two water lines.
This is the food area, which was very crowded as with the rest of the park.
Chillin’ at Piedmont with nothing to worry about.
