I was able to take my first NBA photo assignment last week with the Toronto Raptors up against the Los Angeles Lakers. This wasn’t a very big game since it is still a young season, but the Lakers were able to grind out a win with a final score of 108-103. I was pretty confused on the photo situation, since this was my first NBA game. I also know of the pecking order for photographers, so I would possibly be sitting in none ideal locations. But since the season is still young, the court had plenty of room to sit. So as with every game, I start out taking a few stock photos just in case there are some headlines. But after, I stayed in my same spot for all of the game, spot 18. I took some photos of Kobe Bryant fist pumping with the crowd.
