Seattle

I’ve always heard wonderful things about Seattle, Washington. Especially that the city was gorgeous, but I didn’t know how many peopled loved the outdoors here. It was a surprise to hear that there were many trails and other outdoors activities within the metropolitan area, as well as a few hours away. The morning after we arrived, we wanted to get some good breakfast and lunch in after our malnourishment within the national parks. This delicious breakfast sandwich was our first meal. Lunch was at a Chinese porridge shop which I forgot to take photos of due to the sheer quantity of food that my mom ordered.

Our favorite place to hang out was Pikes Place. This area in Seattle hosts many different shops that mostly resemble a farmer’s market. Here is some produce on sale, that usually is locally grown and really fresh.

There are also lots of sea food stands, which was another reason to visit Seattle. Who can say no to the freshest ingredients!

Rainier Cherries

And some other cherries that we purchased.

Post Alley

The original Starbucks. This place was overly crowded and in my opinion not worth visiting.

Local vendors were also present with their many different crafts.

Typical sign of Pike’s Place public market.

More produce.

The juiciest and most delicious peaches that grant the phrase “Holy Shit.”

And the infamous Pikes Place seafood shop.

And of course the throwing of fish.

Skyline photo, a must when visiting any major city.
