It’s kind of weird to think that it has already been a year since I went on my study abroad in Metz, France. I would currently be residing in London getting ready for my first day of class – which awkwardly started on Tuesday. It would be one of the best summers, and one that would make my college career worthwhile. Little did I know that I would be experiencing this with complete strangers, making friends with people all over the world. I would travel to Brugge, Brussels, the Black Forrest, Rome, Florence, Venice, Stockholm, Interlaken, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Montpellier, Cannes, Nice, Barcelona, Zurich, Geneva, and Heidelberg – in that order. It tickled my fancy for travel, and stirred a desire to be in environments for me to learn, thrive, LIVE.
