Today we drove from Kansas, the city if nothingness to somewhere a bit more exhilarating, Colorado. Melody and I have been travelling so much that we got a free room at the Ritz Carlton – all we paid was tax. Well here is the entrance to our extravagant suite.

And an amazing bed that accompanies our room – never slept on a king size.

So that night we wanted to hang out around 16th street mall to see all that Denver has to offer. We were deciding between restaurants and came upon Paramount which fostered around 20 types of microbrews from around Colorado. We had to try some straight from the keg.

The next day we were off to Zion, but I realized that I was missing out on what Colorado has to offer like the Rocky Mountain National Park. Hopefully I can plan a visit during winter break with snowboarding and possibly other activities.

There were many viewpoints on our drive back so I took the opportunity to take a picture of both Melody and Me.
