Labor day weekend, a plan for a relaxing but fun filled weekend. I was hoping that it wouldn’t be a rushed trip like last time, which came to be true. It was true because I planned this vacation so my family would have a nice weekend trip together, and we all enjoyed it till the last second.
Melody flew in on Friday night so we decided to stay in Atlanta an extra night while my family headed off the Jekyll. When we arrived, they were all at the beach enjoying the water and the sun. I was greeted by my dad with his always playful self.
Melody isn’t used to the East Coast beaches, but I know she still enjoyed herself. I tried to make it a trip for everyone, even Cooper!
Oh, and these are the flowers I got her for her visit. It was nice to surprise her, which she loved so much that she had to bring it to Jekyll.
And Cooper on the beach. The main reason we went to Jekyll was to enjoy it with him. He was the most excited dog at the beach, always wearing himself out.

We bought a kite to fly, because it was always a plan of ours. We have attempted, but never really purchasing an actual kite. Well it was a whole family effort, and some sort of competition to get this kite flighting at its full potential. Here is Melody with her beautiful fish kite.
