The most anticipated game of Georgia Tech’s schedule proved to be an exciting game. Homecoming against a #4 ranked team provided a stressful anticipation, with the odds being against Georgia Tech. Tensions were high coming into the game because we all knew that this was a game we needed to win. Here is the band came out to celebrate for the pregame.

The first play of the game, Virginia Tech tried to test our pass defense. Georgia Tech came out with a very stingy defense to end the half at 7-3. Here is Jerrard Tarrant not allowing Virginia Tech receiver with the catch.
Second pass of the game, but not second play, provided Virginia Tech with a first down. This time with Mario Butler on the defense cannot get to the ball.

During half-time, I decided to go on top of the stadium to get a shot of the crowd. The stadium was pretty packed, which I feel like is moderately rare.
Defensive back Mario Williams tried to get the crowd pumped up as we start the second half.
Jonathan Dwyer runs past Virginia Tech’s secondary. Dwyer ended the day with 83yards and no touchdowns.
The Virginia Tech defense was unable to contain Nesbitt, who ended with 145 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Tyrod Taylor was limited to his own legs, which proved to be the booster for Virginia Tech’s offense. Tyrod Taylor ended the day with 80 yards on 13 attempts.
