The Almost opened up for The Used at the Tabernacle. I really enjoyed the performance and it got me ready for the main event. I was having a bad day today and wasn’t impressed with what I have produced. But here are a few of the ones I kind of like. The drummer of The Almost had these sweet looking glasses.
The guy’s hair was always in his face, it didn’t make for any interesting photos. But here is a great close up to his face.
Loving the emotion of this guys face, one of the guitarist of The Almost.
And a typical wide angle shot I felt was appropriate.
And the lead vocalist having a peak moment that I didn’t get from The Used, which was a combination of erratic lighting and a so-so energy performance from The Used.
The main event, The Used, with the lead guitarist jamming out. He wouldn’t lift up his head, I guess he was just that into the music.
Greeting the crowd, hate how I cut off the mic.
The shotty lighting made for shotty pictures. I really am disliking the orange and reds that they put on stage. It ruins all the pictures that could have been good.
The Used just seemed to be calm, never going crazy like I wanted to see.
And here is an example of the crazy lighting, but I did like what came out of this photo. What I was expecting, more screaming!
