The GT vs UGA game is going to be my last game as an undergraduate at Georgia Tech. It may even be the last game that I will be able to attend for a long time. It was nothing short of exciting, but ended in a way that was a bit depressing. The game started off with a lot of intensity, with both teams going at it.
I don’t know why, but I had to take a picture of Jaybo Shaw in the beginning of the game. The lights, and his intensity drew me to him. I guess I had a premonition that he would be playing a bit this game, and not even at the end of the game.
My wreck picture, I thought the idea would be fantastic. It was something different and I have yet to see someone do it. I was pretty happy with my first panning attempt, but I had to try it again later.
The game started out with defenses being the key factors to the game. I had a good feeling as UGA running back Washaun Ealey is tackled and the UGA running game going no where.
A photo of UGA quarterback Joe Cox and center Ben Jones pointing out the defense.
UGA finally got their run game with Washaun Ealey running for a first down and avoiding Georgia Tech defenders.
Josh Nesbitt trying to run the triple option, but proving ineffective against UGA during the first half.
A-back Marcus Wright trying to avoid a tackle off of a option pass.
The most heart dropping part of the game was Nesbitt’s injury.

A view of UGA quarter back Joe Cox, standing in a well established pocket.

UGA tailback Caleb King dives for some extra yards as UGA penetrates to the red zone.
Buzz saying “To Hell with Georgia.” One of Georgia Tech’s slogans against UGA.
UGA flanker Michael Moore is wide open for a touchdown pass.

UGA middle linebacker Akeem Dent sacks Georgia Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt.
My second panning attempt on the wreck.
GT wide receiver Demariyus Thomas stiff arms weak corner Vance Cuff for a 75 yard touchdown.
UGA tailback Caleb King evades Georgia Tech defenders for 75 yards and a touchdown to respond to the GT touchdown.
This picture sums up the game with Jonathan Dwyer not being able to get any yardage. Dwyer ended the game with 33 yards and no touchdowns.
GT A-back Anthony Allen is wrapped up as he rushes for little gain.
UGA ended the game with 339 yards on the ground, with Washaun Ealey leading the pack with 183 yards.
Demariyus Thomas proved to be a difference maker during the game, ending the day with 127 yards and 1 touchdown. He missed the game changing 4th down catch for a 1st down.
The almost epic play of UGA kicker Blair Walsh missing to the left. This allowed Tech an opportunity to win the game, but falling short.
