It seems like the Dodgers have no way back into the post season, which was reiterated through todays 12-2 loss against the Rockies. Well, there are still people to shoot during these times, just to get ready for next season or the other team. It was pretty brutal outside, I think I got pretty sunburned, and learned to bring some extra sunblock for these day games. I had to get some photos of the current manager Joe Torre since he will be stepping down next season replaced by the hitting coach Don Mattingly.
And yes, a stock image of Don Mattingly as well.
The Los Angeles starting pitcher Jon Ely pitches during the first inning.
Colorado Rockies Troy Tulowitzki hits his first home run of the game during the first inning.
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin.
Some typical shots of Los Angeles Dodgers Ryan Theriot.
And Los Angeles Dodgers Andre Ethier, both up to bat.
It wasn’t that exciting of a game, but there were a couple of home runs hit. Here is a celebration after the second home run by Troy Tulowitzki, pouring water on teammate Miguel Olivo.
Los Angeles Dodgers Matt Kemp reacts after striking out, by throwing his helment.
A failed dive by Colorado Rockies Carlos Gonzalez.
Celebration by Melvin Mora, who hit a grand slam during the game.
Colorado Rockies second baseman Clint Barmes throwing to first base.
I’m hoping I will get some more opportunities with baseball to get some more unique views. These were just standard shots, which are somewhat boring but hopefully next time (wednesday) i’ll be able to get something different.
