The actual journey begins after we finally arrived in Sedona and decided “What’s the plan.” So after I got a quick shot of our hotel room number, in the fashionable red rock stucco, we were off to the races.

First we went to Nick’s for breakfast.

The sugar, creamer, and salt holders.

After breakfast, we were off for some hiking around the red rocks of Sedona. Our final destination would be devil’s bridge in one of Sedona’s state parks. I tried to get a few photos of Afui and Mitch, I remember that Melody told me she was going to take some photos for their “e-sesh” so I decided to get a few of them, candid. But it proved to be a very difficult task!

And also proven by this encounter with both of them. I guess she was a little camera shy, but that would soon end. They would get used to their cyclops stalker.

Afui and her faces… I just can’t get that natural expression.

And I start to see her smile coming out!

Pit stop! Just in time for a family photo.

After about a half a mile hike, we made it to the Devils Bridge trailhead. Our car wasn’t able to take us through the bumpy roads leading to these trails, which is all the better.

I don’t know why I like this one, maybe just the genuine expressions.

And our time to sign into the final destination, this kind of reminded me of Machu Piccu.

Afui’s foreigner signature. I wonder what people think now, after they see some chinese characters in the book.

The general view from one of the many spots of trail. I love these red rocks!

Afui and Marisa posing/gazing. I really wanted a group pic.

And we got one!

Oh and of course the rock by itself. The texture is just awesome.

Some other rock formations while I tried to get a better view of Devil’s Bridge.

And I finally made it, with a few visitors already taking their lunch break.

Devil’s Bridge.

Next stop, lunch at ChocalaTree, vegan restaurant.

And of course chocolates.

So this rock is suppose to give you energy, much like the vortexes in Sedona. So Melody nourished her hippy side and gave it a hug.

After lunch, everyone dug in for some vegan tiramisu. Melody, the hasty one going in for the first bite.

The Tsai family vortex of Tiramisu.

Afterwards we headed to Tlaquepaque for some shopping, and I found cool tiles to pose in front of. Didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to.

Melody, filled with excitement, after the candy shop.

Later in the evening we decided to make some cookies with the gift I bought Marisa. A cookie book and a few cookie cutters.

Melody making out with a sugar daddy.

Afui playing Wii fit, another custom of our holidays.

And the finished cookies.
