Another day, another adventure. This time we have planned trips to tour the scenes and attractions of Sedona. First stop, the Verde Canyons. All Aboard! We arrived at the rail station early, so I walked around for some detailed photos, I got this cute guy. Notice the red rock background again.
Here is the Verde Canyon Railroad wilderness route, just a side shot of our actual rail car.
And the inside of our first class car, never thought I would say I road first class again.
A great photo of Melody’s dad, Yutong. These are rare and hard to come by.
The Leopard, Marisa, an aspiring photog.
Afui and her half smile. I love this photo though.
Another aspiring photographer that I met! I saw his cool little digital camera from a far, we had to talk to him. He was really enthusiastic, a shutter bug some may say.
Just another photo, and his nice blue eyes.
From the other rail car with an outside view. Everyone was kind of frightened by the cold weather, but the Tsai’s were able to bundle up and enjoy. Here is Melody and her mother.
Going into the only tunnel of the trip, which was not as climatic as I thought.
Melody and the railcar.
Some local ice cream sandwiches, I forgot the name of the city but I will get back to everyone. Basically these dollar treats were only sold at this particular city. I guess we are trying to stimulate the economies nationally and locally.
The next day, we were headed on a jeep trip for some off roading. Here is another attempt of Mitch-fui.
Soldiers Pass Road, our offroad adventure.
A photo from the back of the jeep, which surprisingly fit all 8 of us.
The companies main destination, which I also forgot the name of the formation.
But they contained these pools, which never dry.
The tour, and tour guide explaining the rocks. I guess thats why I didn’t know anything about our tour, busy photographing.
Time to go, this time a row of Jeeps. This kind of reminds me of a row of ants for some reason.
Devil’s Kitchen, which is this huge hole resulting from a earthquake. The name resides from a local saying “what’s the devil brewing.” After the earthquake created this huge gap in the side of the mountain.
The view of Devil’s Kitchen.
Our tour guide, dressed up with gun, stirrups and all.
And I had to get another photo of Melody at this exact spot. I hope you like.
