The final days of our Sedona trip called for a white christmas, which arrived a little late. This also hindered some of our plans, which resulted in a movie day of Tron. From the days prior to the snow, it was quite chilly, which calls for a nice and peaceful day at a local coffee shop. There was a notebook that visitors signed, and here was one of the drawings that I liked the most.

My Mayan hot chocolate, since I am not really a coffee drinker.

Melody with her cup.

We also travelled to Montezuma Castle National Monument, which is a little place nestled on the side of this mountain. It naturally created a roof for its inhabitants.

A view of the actual castle fabricated on the side of this mountainside.

We also visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which in the right lighting looks like it was naturally weathered into the rock.

The actual snow day forced us to go shopping, since there was nothing that we could do outside. The Tsai ladies were going to go take a yoga class, so they needed to get the right apparel. Well any excuse to shop for them! We also stopped by this cool little model train shop.

But after the shopping, Marisa decided that she wanted to relax more, and asked for some photos in the snow. I was busy reading Hunger Games, but still found time to get her a few shots in.

Later that night, we had dinner at a local brewery, Oak Creek Brewery. I always have to try to samplers since I love to taste the different types of brews people create.

The next day, we were looking for places to eat when I noticed some clay on the rug. Marisa was adamant that she wasn’t the one to track in this. But with my detective skills and my camera, I found proof that it couldn’t be none other than… Well we will look at exhibit one, with a women’s heel mark.

And the final piece of evidence, Marisa’s shoe.

Some stockings hanging in a local japanese restaurant, one of two that we visited that day.

Snoopy rock, in mist of the cloudy days. I found a ray of sunlight that spotlighted the structure.

Our second japanese restaurant, with a bird nested inside this lamp.
