I covered the Women’s basketball USC at UCLA game the other week for the Daily Trojan, and was hoping for more action for these cross town rivals. I was finally able to setup a floor remote for the first time in a while, I’m not really allowed in NBA games but I’m trying to find out how. I got a few good images for a Women’s game, but wanted to see a little more intensity in this game. I started out in the stands, to get a different view of the beginning of the game.  The UCLA Bruins defeated the USC Trojans 61-42.

I liked this shot, just a contrast between the blue and black just like the rivalry.

Here is an example of my remote camera, which I set up at the feet of the Daily Trojan writers. It was pretty difficult to get stable but it ended up staying the whole game!

Since I was taking photos for the Daily Trojan, I wasn’t able to get much of the UCLA action. Little did I know, US Presswire was looking for me to upload to the wire.
