The LA art walk is a street market held on the second Thursday of the month that showcases both the fine arts of the city as well as the street scene. It’s nice to see a part of LA you can walk through the streets without feeling threatened. It’s also nice that I am able to walk there 10 minutes or less, held around 4th and spring. I also discovered areas that I didn’t know exist on our walk there, so maybe I can revisit them in the future? Well here are some photos of my whole trip from start to finish.
The free, self-guided, public art phenomenon known as The Downtown Art Walk brings together art lovers and community friends to the ever evolving downtown Los Angeles. With exciting and unique offerings around every corner, downtown celebrates the arts each and every month on the 2nd Thursday. Please refer to your calendar for specific dates. Hours vary by gallery, but can typically range from Noon – 9PM.
I invited my friend Craig from GT to come along, and we both were hooked the minute we saw food trucks lining the parking lots.
