A European super star matchup in the MLS featuring the New York Red Bulls’ Thierry Henry and Los Angeles Galaxy’s David Beckham had lots of hype coming into Carson, California. This was and probably will be one of the biggest matches on American soil, not compare to the Premier League which hosts the worlds greatest talents. Instead, an ember of what once was, still glowing bright. It ended up being a wonderful match with Henry and Donovan both scoring one goal to end in a tie match. I arrived at the Home Depot Center early to get some shots of both players before the game, and some pregame action. Here are a few fans with the traditional soccer scarfs in blue and gold.
