I usually listen to NPR on my car rides around town, but I haven’t recently been driving because of the gas prices and convenience of public transportation. I was delighted to hear that there was going to be a “Night Market” hosted in Westminster one evening and I had to check it out. I invited Melody and Jennifer for our night out. I really didn’t expect too much and was happy to see such a happening place when stores were usually closed. We arrived at the Asian Garden Mall as the sun was setting with a crowd already actively shopping around.
There were the usual toys for sale, to entice the little kids into some fun activities.
Jennifer and Melody, excited to get some grub.
Most of the food vendors included some sort of Vietnamese BBQ. These skewers were pretty delicious. There was also boba, some assorted food trucks, fruit, and other various treats.
Dragon dance anyone?
Bonsai vendor, slightly camera shy.
I thought this was cute. Bubble gun baby.
These character hats are booming everywhere, especially the animal hats with arms attached.
More BBQ.
And Melody with our last dish, an oyster pancake.
