With a new addition to the Tsai family, Raymond, being introduced to the states, I really wanted to get him out to meet some other babies. I decided to setup a playdate with a fellow lab mate of mine who recently was gifted their cute little Alice. We decided to go to Griffith Park, specifically for the playgrounds and barbecue afterwards.
While waiting to find the other couple, we played around with Raymond in the playground.
The cutie pie.
He had a really interesting fascination with sound from the beginning, always grooving to some music in the background. When we found these little chimes, Raymond was definitely intrigued.
While we were testing out all the areas in the playground, we ended up showing Alice the slide, which she loved.
Raymond, not so much.
He didn’t want to come down, frightened for his life.
Raymond, looking for some food.
Mitchell, Melody’s brother, really wanted a photo of Raymond with the Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, which definitely turned out to be one of my favorite pictures of the day.
The kids with chocolate.
Alice, always interested in my camera.
Baby hand holding!
Look at those lips, it’s always so funny to see remnants of food on a baby’s face.
Alice and Raymond, a forced encounter.
And lastly, the cute Alice. She was definitely the more communicative of the two. We were wondering how she was able to walk already, basing progress off Raymond. She also had a ear for words, which made it a little easier to understand her wants and for her to follow commands.
