Kelvin strives to express his creativity and break away from his monotonous engineering discipline, this website showcases beauty of the Los Angeles Area, particularly through the backcountry, which many people never fully experience. Kelvin Kuo graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Chemical Engineering and received a Bachelors in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. With his engineering mindset, he has always found ways to build, fix, and understand everything that he touches. His curious nature allows him to bring a new perspective to everything he captures. After multiple years of research, he decided to pursue photography full-time and try to provide synergy with creativity and technical knowledge.
Kelvin is currently a freelance photographer for USA TODAY Sports Images and the Associated Press in the Los Angeles area. His work includes sporting events, portraits, and concerts. He has a love for traveling, which quenches his thirst to learn about many different cultures and world geography. He also loves the environment, biking, snowboarding, and trying new things.
